Common Custom Rubber Stamp Questions and Answers:

What is the production process for making a custom rubber stamp?
First, you will select your design and place an order here on the shop site. Then, within 2 business days, you will receive a "proof" of the design via email from Ann Vento, our artist. You must look over the design proof and email Ann back with your approval of the design or any necessary corrections. Once you have approved the design, we will send your completed design off to the manufacturer for production. We will receive your stamp back in our offices in 2 to 3 business days where we will then package your stamp and ship it to you. The whole production process takes about 4 to 6 business days.

Am I allowed to change the design once I have seen the proof?
There will be a maximum of two reworks and/or design changes per custom design order. Typographical errors or design errors by the artist (i.e. using the wrong font) do not count towards the two reworks. Once you give approval of the final design, it will be sent to the manufacturer and you will no longer be able to make additional changes to your design.

What material is my custom stamp made from?
All custom rubber stamps are made using gray rubber which is etched on a laser machine. The laser machine actually burns the design into the rubber.

Why is there an odor to my custom stamp?
Because the custom stamps are created using a laser machine, the stamp is often left with a burnt rubber scent, which will fade over time.

How long will it take to make and ship my custom design(s)?
Each stamp takes about 4 to 6 business days to manufacture. This time includes creating the custom design, approval by the customer, manufacturing the stamp, and shipping. You should expect to receive your custom stamp within 7 to 10 business days if you live in the United States or slightly longer for an international destination.

What style can I choose and what font options do I have?
There are many styles to choose from including clean and simple designs, more intricate and elegant designs, as well as some fun and whimsical ones too. Each design is set with the number of custom lines of text you may personalize as well as the option of choosing the font style for the name portion of the stamp. Please note that the font options apply ONLY to the name portion of the custom design.

Do you customize address stamps?
Yes we do! You can select from 3 styles. We have one for a 3 line stamp, or 4 line stamp, or even a 5 line stamp. Each address stamp also includes the option of selecting a graphic and font choice. Please be sure to include all mailing information exactly as you wish for it to appear on the finished design. How do I use my custom rubber stamp?
Each stamp will arrive to you with EZ Mount attached, but you will need to trim off the excess rubber around the custom design. Then you can attach your custom stamp to an acrylic block and you are ready to go! Below is an example of a custom rubber stamp, which has been trimmed and then mounted on an acrylic block.



Can I return my custom rubber stamp for a refund?
All sales are final on custom designs due to the amount of time and costs related to manufacturing your one of a kind design. Please be sure you are happy with the proof of your design as once you give your approval, there are no reworks to the final design.
